I lost the first picture I took of this so I though the monogram would be a good indication that I love being preppy. Preppy Is just my life style that I wouldn't change about myself. I love what I wear and I embrace people calling me basic for being preppy.
I decided to do the portrait project but instead of drawing I wanted to do photography. Photography is my favorite type of medium. I could take pictures everyday if I could. The point of the pictures was that women can do everything that men can. Women have their soft side but also have their strengths http://youtu.be/7WCLjpWJmyw We used a white board and white board markers for our stop motion. I thought of the idea, Kristin video taped it, Brittany drew the pictures. My art journal is representing space. I did tissue paper as a texture layer and then spray paint on top of that, splatter in the shape of a planet and chalk pastel and then blue paint to make the texture of the Galaxy The difference between getting invitation and stealing a piece is that you get ideas about the pice but put your own spin on the art. I would think it would be okay to use another picture but change something about it and also give the original source credit because playdarizing is something you don't play with. The two things I combined was a eye and fish. The eye is crying but instead of tears it's fish! I used water color to match the inspiration of tears to give it more of a watery affect. I would change how small it is. I wish it was a little longer so I could paint more fish to make it more realistic. The one thing I found that was really successful was the iris of the eye, I loved the idea of putting that as the only color in the whole piece. I love the effect it gives the artwork! I learned that using just newspaper can turn into a beautiful piece, that's the same way with trash, if you position it the right way it's beautiful. This piece was successful in such a way that it was the old kind of old vintage look. I wish I could go back and change the way the tree looks in this piece. |
